Dexter loves his holidays there.
Great Kennels my Dexter enjoys staying at kennels, all ways happy to go inside and looks well looked after when we collect him. Keep up the great work.
Marsh Lea Boarding Kennels is owned and personally looked after by Jo & David Stevens. We have been involved with dogs for the last 20 years. We have several dogs of our own, mainly rescues, which include Border Collies, 2 Italian Spinones and a Saint Bernard. We have a genuine love of animals and aim to give every dog in our care the very best attention.
Jo has an Ofqual level 3 in animal management, a national certificate in animal care and a special interest in Agility and Animal Welfare. David has attended the British Institute of Dog Training course an individually designed course and has a natural affinity for dogs.
We are happy to administer medication including insulin injections.
All dogs have enrichment opportunities while staying with us. This involves them doing what they like best, toys, treats, puzzles, fuss, games.
We are always willing to discuss your unique requirements. For more information or to discuss your needs please contact us.

Jo is the owner of Marsh Lea Kennels and personally looks after all the dogs that come to stay. She has an ofqual level 3 in animal management, and has many years experience in working with dogs of all sizes.
David maintains the grounds. He is very experienced with difficult dogs and helps out where necessary. He is usually responsible for the collection and delivery of dogs.
Sue joined the team last year and is invaluable with her organisational skills. Sue works mainly behind the scenes making sure that all the kennels are clean, and settling in our slightly more nervous guests. She also has 2 dogs of her own.
Joanne joined us in 2020 and is a valued member of our team. She has several small dogs of her own and is excellent at giving the slightly more timid dogs confidence. She is very well organised so everything runs very smoothly.

My dogs love staying here and I go away safe in the knowledge that they are safe and expertly taken care of. Jo truly understands dogs and my lot love her. They run in tails wagging and that means a lot to me. Jo even helped look after one of my dogs after an operation when I was unable to do so.
Can’t recommend Marshlea enough!
